My Story

Two degrees, a steady 9-to-5, and yet, something still wasn’t adding up. On paper, I had done everything right. I followed the path we’re told leads to success: education, hard work, and climbing the career ladder. But no matter how high I climbed, I kept running into the same ceiling. The truth is, the field I work in doesn’t lead to the most lucrative jobs. And as much as I’ve tried to make it work, I’ve found myself hopping from job to job, constantly searching for something more.

That “something” wasn’t just a better position or a bigger paycheck. It was financial freedom and the autonomy to live life on my own terms. I wanted to break free from the cycle of just getting by and start building a future where I had real control over my time, my income, and my opportunities.

That realization sparked something in me. I started looking at the skills, knowledge, and resources I already had and asked myself: How can I use what I know to create more opportunities? That’s when I launched Too Creative to Be Broke as a clothing brand. For the first time, I was in control of what I earned. The brand resonated with people, and while I made some money, it wasn’t the breakthrough I hoped for. But more importantly, it taught me that the name and the message were bigger than just clothing—they were about mindset and action.

I realized I needed to pivot. The lightbulb went off when I discovered the potential of digital products. Unlike physical items, digital resources can reach anyone, anywhere, at any time. By leveraging my skills and experiences, I could create tools to help others achieve their own financial and personal breakthroughs. This wasn’t just about earning—it was about creating a movement and building a community.

Now, Too Creative to Be Broke is evolving into a platform dedicated to helping people leverage their skills, knowledge, and ideas to make more, both in and outside of their jobs. Whether it’s launching a side hustle, creating a product, or leveling up in your career, there’s always a way to break old habits and build something better.
